THE MINISTRY OF YOUTH PRESENTS DEVELOPMENTAL RESEARCH PAPERS TO THE LAND TRANSPORT AUTHORITY
Amman, Jan. 6 (Petra) – The Secretary-General of the Ministry of Youth, Dr. Hussein Jabour, stressed the importance of the proposals and research papers submitted by young members of the committees of the Youth Parliament and Youth Government Projects of the Political Institute, one of the Ministry of Youth’s training projects, to the Land Transport Regulatory Authority, to advance and improve the reality of services provided by state institutions and sectors through their development and improvement.
He pointed out that the research papers developed new ideas to raise the level of services and advance the reality of institutional work in the long term, after conducting intensive theoretical and practical studies and research out of their national and societal sense and their belief in their role in bringing about change, to address weaknesses, build capacities and find new ways and innovative solutions in sectors. all.
This came during a dialogue session today, Thursday, that brought together the youth with the Director General of the Land Transport Regulatory Authority, Tariq Habashneh, during which they discussed their research papers and development recommendations in the transport sector. Towards the development of a technological system to regulate the public transport sector in Jordan between legislation and application. While members of public transport in the youth government reviewed their research paper entitled: “Public transport bus stations in Jordan between achieving sustainability requirements and activating the work of stations.”
For his part, Habashneh stressed the importance of partnership with the relevant authorities to advance the reality of transportation in Jordan, especially after the Corona pandemic, which cast a shadow on all sectors, and on the transportation sector in particular, to reach the stage of recovery, praising the efforts made by young people through their research papers and development recommendations that Presented to the authority, which indicates the extent of Jordanian youth awareness of the importance of the transport sector and overcoming the obstacles and challenges facing the sector through their pioneering ideas.
